Six years ago I started out on the adventure of designing and making my own clothes.
It all started with me needing an outfit for a special event. I enrolled at a pattern cutting and design course, learned the principles of making and manipulating a pattern and found out that I had a real talent and passion for it.
Every new garment has a new and exciting challenge of developing it from the initial idea over the drawing board and patern development to the finished product. And because each one is unique it remains interesting and exciting for me.
Making a garment or costume is not just exciting and very satisfactory. The new outfit can also alter the way you see yourself and the way others perceive you.
It can change the way you walk and make you feel differently.
